Paris

**Pre-publish (so you all can see some pictures)

On the morning of Saturday the 26th, Grant, Katy, Kjiera, Jacque and I trained from our hotel to the Cathedral of Notre Dame. We bought an unlimited one day metro, bus and city train pass for 20 euro. The train took about one hour. During our ride to the city we planned out what we wanted to get done in our short time in Paris. Since our time in Paris was cut in half, due to train delays, we decided we would skip touring the inside of the Louvre. We decided on the Cathedral of Notre Dame to start the day, then we would walk around for an hour or so, do some people watching, eat some lunch, and meet up with Nick, Logan, Spencer and Troy at the Louvre around 1pm.

After getting off the train (and figuring how to get out of the train station) we were right at the Cathedral of Notre Dame. We did not have to wait more than five minutes and we were through the line and marveling at the inside of the Cathedral. The amount of work that went into a place like this is incredible. The inside was full of culture, darkness and people who didn't follow the no-flash photography rule.

After that, the five of us made our way through the side streets of Paris and along the Seine River. A couple of us bought paintings done by Paris art students.

  3. Love, love, love the pictures! I'm glad you followed the no-flash rule! You couldn't get the shots like looking up at the bottom of the cross and the person by the candles with a flash. I like the last Eiffel Tower pic with the exposure being held open to let in so much light. Very cool and so different from the pic above it. I also like the picture of the girls by the streetlights and the one of them jumping off the bench. It looks like you are all having a great time. Make sure you're in some of your photos, too! I did see the photo on facebook - you weren't really pouring water on someone, were you? Mind your manners! :)
