To finish up the celebrations we shared a 5 liter beer tower at a local bar. Grant also sweet talked the bartender into giving him a free, ice cold, Heineken for his birthday.

Grants Birthday Celebration(s)
For Grants birthday we went to a micro brewery 40 km from Svendborg, where we got to try 10 different brews, 1 of which is forbidden by the European Union. The "forbidden beer" is made with seaweed and snuff. It is forbidden under the law that says that a non-food product (in this case, snuff) can not be used as an ingredient in a beer. It is quite controversial because although it is forbidden, it also won best new beer in Denmark in 2010. In the picture below you can see some of the other beers we got to try. (We have more pictures that are on grants camera, we'll get them on here soon.)
In the afternoon we grilled with John, Rose, Chipper & Ann. We had some steak strips for an appetizer and had cheese burgers, chicken, and veggies for supper. Chipper, Johns brother in law, was the grill master.
